Rules for Membership
The Basics:
Membership is open to female identifying persons, age 21 and older.
Members are required to make a personal or business donation of $400 annually. Donations are collected in $100 increments and on a quarterly basis for the benefit of non-profit organizations and entrepreneurs serving/conducting business in the Lewis Clark Valley.
Donations of $100 are due at each quarterly meeting, regardless of attendance. Donations are to be paid by cash, check, or online payment. If making an online payment, all fees are the responsibility of the member.
Tax deductible receipts will be sent by the receiving organization. Please note that donations to entrepreneurs are not tax deductible.
Attendance:
Attendance is required at a minimum of 3 meetings annually.
Absence:
1 absence is permitted annually.
In the event of absence, members are still responsible for that meeting’s donation. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the donation is delivered to the recipient. Suggested methods for delivery include:
Sending donation (cash or check) with another member to the meeting.
Sending check by mail directly to recipient organization or entrepreneur.
Online payment via giving circle portal.
Discretion:
Member contact information is not to be used for distribution.
New Members:
Members may bring potential new members (PNM) to meetings. A PNM can join at any meeting, so long as she completes an enrollment form and is prepared to make a contribution immediately. Please indicate if you are bringing a PNM 1 week prior to the scheduled meeting.
